Deirdre is a lifelong lover of good food, wine, people, and prose.
She graduated from Vassar College magna cum laude with a degree in French, and from Ecole Le Cordon Bleu Paris with diplomas in French cuisine and oenology. For various reasons of debatable excellence, she then spent more than ten years working as a lawyer in San Francisco and Napa Valley. In 2009, she returned to her truest passions: wine and food, writing, and helping others achieve their goals.
Since that time, she has written or edited countless wine tasting notes, recipes, websites, release announcements, biographies, and stories. You can read some of her food musings on the Hedonism Eats blog, and follow her on Instagram for photos of her latest mouthful.
